Where it comes from
This wine has its roots in the slopes of Pradis, located in the Cormons area, a hilly region historically dedicated to quality viticulture. Doro Princic manages a vineyard area of about seven hectares, with technical management entrusted to Alessandro Princic. In this specific microclimate, Collio Goriziano Merlot takes shape, its connection to its land of origin reflected in a targeted production of around 45,000 bottles per year.
How it is produced
The vinification of Merlot grapes is followed by careful ageing, essential to stabilise the sensory profile and define the wine's distinctive softness. To enhance its characteristics, it is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18°C, ideally with a decanting time of about an hour. With an interesting capacity for evolution, it has a potential longevity of between ten and fifteen years.
