Description
What kind of wine it is
Domini Veneti Chiaretto di Bardolino Classico is a fresh and elegant still rosé. This blend combines the native Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara varieties in a sip of marked finesse and pleasant acidity. On the nose, it offers a well-defined bouquet, where delicate aromas of tea rose and violet emerge. The tasting continues with fragrant notes of small red fruits, recalling wild strawberry and raspberry, finishing with a clean and balanced finish.
Where it comes from
The grapes are grown in the Bardolino Classico area, on the morainic hills of Lazise and Pastrengo, in the province of Verona. The vineyards benefit from excellent south-west exposure and grow at around fifty metres above sea level, trained using the single pergola system. The vines sink their roots into medium-textured soils with a sandy tendency and a rich presence of limestone. This glacial-morainic soil encourages a defined fruit expression and remarkable structural balance.
How it is produced
The harvest takes place between September and early October with a rigorous manual selection of the bunches. Gentle pressing precedes direct fermentation without skin maceration, carried out at a controlled temperature to preserve the integrity of the aromas. The subsequent ageing in steel consolidates the wine's clarity and preserves its natural freshness. In the glass, it displays a delicate peach pink colour, revealing a flavour profile with pronounced aromatic clarity.
History and Curiosities
Founded in 1933, the Domini Veneti brand embodies the spirit of the Cantina di Negrar, skilfully combining tradition and innovation. This outstanding rosé is born in the heart of the Bardolino Classico, among the evocative moraine hills of Lazise and Pastrengo. In this region, the south-west exposure and sandy soils rich in limestone give the wine a unique elegance. Signed by oenologists Daniele Accordini and Fabio Zordan, this wine celebrates the most authentic Venetian vocation.

The spirit is the same as that of the visionary cooperative founded in 1933 by the seven businessmen from Verona, just as the very same principles guide our work on a daily basis today and inspire every new project: initiative, reciprocity and collaboration.
Generations that work side by side: this is the strength of Cantina Valpolicella Negrar. It is the same strength that has enabled us to stride through history and become the benchmark producer when it comes to Amarone, Ripasso and the technique of Appassimento.
Energy and creativity on the one hand; on the other, the wisdom that comes from the experience of many vintages, leading to a generational renewal that takes place while we work together. Read more
