Description
What kind of wine it is
Champagne Deutz Brut Classic is a wine produced using the Traditional Method, true to the elegance of its appellation. The character of the blend is born from the harmony between Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. In the glass, the Champagne boasts a fine and persistent perlage that precedes aromas of acacia, Renetta apple, pear and brioche. On the palate, it is silky, balancing the freshness of Chardonnay, the structure of Pinot Noir and the vinosity of Pinot Meunier in a fruity and pleasantly mineral finish.
Where it comes from
The roots of this cuvée lie in Champagne, deeply connected to Aÿ, the historic home of Deutz. To ensure absolute consistency in quality, the grapes are selected from numerous prestigious crus, including Bouzy, Dizy, Ludes and Mareuil. These are joined by grapes from the Côte des Blancs, sourced from Avize, Cramant and Oger. This meticulous geographical attention creates a coherent blend, capable of reflecting the identity of the region while enhancing the producer's distinctive style.
How it is produced
Vinification begins in stainless steel tanks, where malolactic fermentation helps to soften the taste. The cuvée gains further depth thanks to the inclusion of reserve wines, essential for ensuring consistent complexity and maturity over time. The prise de mousse takes place according to the Traditional Method, with a slow ageing on the lees for at least thirty-six months, which is fundamental for developing elegant toasted notes and a creamy texture. Finally, the typical dosage of the Brut style seals a perfect organoleptic balance.

The registers and order books bear witness: Deutz had already earned a solid reputation well before the beginning of the 20th century.
Over the years, their successors worked hard to develop the brand's character and elegance. From the outset, Deutz on its approach through the generations: a consistent and harmonious blend which gives all Deutz wines a unique style.
And because quality is born of the fruit of the earth, the brand has purchased land in some of the Champagne's best villages. These include, in addition to Aÿ, plots within the famous "Côte des Blancs".
Today, under the leadership of Fabrice Rosset, Deutz demonstrates the same rectitude in its quest for excellence. Its assets include a passion for terroir and tradition, sustainable viticulture, and a fine range of carefully crafted wines.
