Description
A still white wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 13.5% ABV, produced by Dario Princic. Blend: 100% Pinot Grigio. 0.75L bottle, 2020 vintage. A wine that embodies the philosophy of a pioneer of great maceration white wines, a true Collio guru. Dario works exclusively with traditional methods, using no selected yeasts, no filtering, no adjustments, and lets the wine mature on its fine lees for a long time without fear of compromising the product. Hints of hibiscus on the nose, accompanied by notes of candied citrus, anticipate a fresh and long finish, an expression of a unique terroir.

Dario Princic works 11 hectares of vineyards on spectacular terraces in the village of Oslavia, the heart of the Collio just a few metres from the Slovenian border, beyond which he also owns small plots of vines. Dario works exclusively with traditional methods, does not use selected yeasts, does not filter, does not make adjustments and lets the wine work on the noble lees for a long time without fear of compromising the product. The innate strength of Collio is in his wines, which are characterised by reasonable structure, elegance and impressive precision, despite the "free" style of production. Read more
