Cru Classé de Graves since 1953, the Chateau Latour Martillac tower owes its name to present at the estate recalling a fort built in 13 century by the ancestors of the famous philosopher Montesquieu vigneron. Located on a group of rocks derived from the Pyrenees, was noticed by Edouard Kressmann, Négociant in Bordeaux since 1871, thanks to the quality for its white wines of the time. His son Alfred bought it in 1930 and since then grows more and more prestige and quality enough to be considered one of the symbols of the terroir of Pessac Leognan. Tristan and Loïc Kressmann Today, thanks to the advice of some of the best winemakers in Bordeaux, leading the estate of 45 hectares for a total production of 150.000 bottles of red wine and 36.000 white.
