Description
What type of wine it is
Bric Cenciurio's Roero Arneis is a still white wine with Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) status from Piedmont, produced exclusively from Arneis grapes. On the nose, it is distinguished by the elegance of its subtle fruity notes, accompanied by delicate hints of white flowers and light herbaceous nuances. On the palate, the sip is dry and supported by a lively freshness, with a slightly bitter finish that characterises its profile. Its structure makes it perfect for an aperitif and ideal for pairing with fish dishes, vegetables and delicate first courses.
Where it comes from
This white wine originates in the Roero region, within the historic Bric Cenciurio vineyard, from which the company takes its name. The area is characterised by a unique microclimate and soil capable of faithfully expressing the identity of the Arneis grape. The history of this label dates back to the early nineties, when the founding families merged their estates located between the Barolo and Roero hills to plant the first rows. This deep connection to the land allows for a wine that best enhances the aromatic delicacy and natural expressiveness of its original vine variety.
History and curiosities
Born in 1990 from the union of the founding families between the lands of Barolo and Roero, Bric Cenciurio's Roero Arneis DOCG represents the sincere expression of this grape variety. Cultivated in the eponymous Piedmontese location, it benefits from a unique microclimate ideal for developing the character of Arneis. This wine embodies the experience of the founders' parents, who planted their very first vineyard right here.

Starting from here, in 1990 Franco Pittatore and his brother-in-law Carlo Sacchetto decided to merge their properties in Barolo and Roero, to give life to their dream: producing traditional high-quality wines. A dream, but also a solid project, carried out today by Franco's sons, Alessandro and Alberto, in their estate vineyards in Barolo, Novello, Castellinaldo, and Magliano Alfieri.
Their commitment to keeping alive the good agricultural practices learned from their ancestors, further improved by their oenological studies and continuous research, translates into good practices aimed to safeguard the natural cycles of the land.
Strictly manual labor, carried out with the same care and attention in each vineyard, a part of the land set aside to natural forest, thus renouncing to increase the production in favor of maintaining great biodiversity and an ideal microclimate, are the concrete signs of a commitment that continues in the cellar, with the maximum respect for the grapes and their natural times.
