Blazic

Blazic winery, with a generations long history, is a true example of traditions and family values. Founded by Michele’s great-great-grandfather in 1923, winemaking passion and love for this land have deep roots in this family’s heart. Blazic winery kept on growing during the years, showing constant commitment in its production evolution. In 1992 a key decision was taken, vital for production development in the years to come: the cellar expansion. This strategic choice guaranteed higher quality production and wine aging potential.

Franco, Cinzia and their son Michele, the actual keepers of the traditional winemaking secrets, have inherited an invaluable winemaking expertise from the family’s past and are proudly carrying on the legacy of their great-grandfather, balancing the traditional viticulture of knowledge and passion for old vines and native grapes, with a new agronomical approach. Each new vintage represents an opportunity for innovation and new technologies, integrating them harmoniously in our production philosophy. Our winery has been continuously evolving, while maintaining a firm respect for the surrounding landscape and environment, employing cutting- edge technologies that allowed for production of even more extraordinary wines, mirroring at best the breathtaking landscapes of our Zegla and Vigne Alte vineyards.
