Description

What kind of wine it is

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut by Bisol 1542 is a white Brut sparkling wine with a lively character. In the glass, it reveals a straw yellow colour with greenish hues. The palate offers a fresh and linear profile, with balanced acidity leading to a mineral finish. The secondary fermentation in a pressurised tank enhances the natural qualities of this Veneto excellence.

Where it comes from

The origins of this sparkling wine lie in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, the historic heart of production. Its identity stems from heroic viticulture, based on vineyards in challenging conditions. The vines grow on difficult, steep terrain, environmental factors that give the wine a taut drinkability and unmistakable savouriness, faithfully reflecting the territory.

How it is produced

The process involves white vinification, followed by secondary fermentation in a pressurised tank to develop the perlage. This technique preserves the primary aromas, releasing a bouquet of green apple, citrus fruits and wildflowers. The result is a sparkling wine with a distinctly clean taste, perfect in the Brut style and ready to be enjoyed immediately.

"My grandfather Desiderio and my father Antonio were always on the lookout for the best plots to purchase. Those were the steepest ones, and as such the hardest to cultivate, but their gradient and soil composition made them perfect for growing Glera grapes. It shows how long-sighted they were, and how important the quality of the final product was for them". (Gianluca Bisol)
