Description

What type of wine it is

The Chablis Saint Pierre by Albert Pic is a still white wine from the Burgundy region, with the Chablis appellation, which faithfully reflects the identity of its terroir. Made from Chardonnay grapes, it appears clear with a straw-yellow colour. On the nose, it reveals delicate fruity and floral aromas, combined with pleasant herbaceous notes and mineral nuances. On the palate, it shows a solid structure, offering a crisp sip with remarkable freshness.

Where it comes from

This wine originates from the Chablis area, within the famous Burgundy region. The vineyards benefit from a privileged position at the foot of the hills, a terroir that gives the grapes an unmistakable profile. From this environment comes a white wine that expresses the classic character of the area. The Albert Pic winery, founded in 1755, masterfully enhances the renowned local viticultural vocation.

History and curiosities

Founded in 1755, Albert Pic et Fils is the oldest Maison in the area; Chablis Saint Pierre perfectly embodies its precious Burgundian heritage. The privileged position of the vineyards inspired Baron Patrick de Ladoucette to create exceptional cuvées, such as Pic 1er, which today sit alongside the traditional range. This pure Chardonnay is a great classic that bears witness to the evolution of the estate, preserving the typical minerality and distinctive elegance of this famous appellation intact.
