Areas of cultivation	A typical Piedmontese vine, grown on the hills of Verduno, from which it takes its denomination of origin.
Characteristics of the wine obtained from this grape variety	Brilliant light red colour with pink hues, it takes on orange reflections with ageing. Lively and spicy aroma with hints of cherry when young. There is a spicy scent of white pepper, excellent with cured meats, first courses and food with mushrooms.

I found a wine at a specific year that I couldn’t find anywhere else and saw on their website, so I called in to check if the stock they had was the same showing on their website. Flaminia was very friendly and polite and also very knowledgable. She was able to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for and got back to me very quickly through email. Not only that, she also reminded me to sign up for some member-only offer which was actually really helpful because I got to explore more of their great selection and save on the shipping almost!
