Description
NPU Extra Brut vintage Champagne, produced by Bruno Paillard in the Champagne region, France, 2008. 0.75L bottle. An iconic Champagne, an explosion of aromas that unfold over time, starting with ripe wild strawberries and then opening onto notes of acacia honey, candied pineapple, kumquat, and jasmine. As the wine unfolds, the sweetness of lime blossom and the spicy intensity of cedarwood emerge. Patient tasters will see the nose evolve towards notes of blackberry and blackcurrant. The attack is solid and velvety, with a combination of intense flavor and creamy texture. Generous flavors of candied apricots and lightly toasted gingerbread. The finish is balsamic and minty, true to the N.P.U. - Nec Plus Ultra signature!

According to Bruno Paillard, a great Champagne is first and foremost a blend of wines: first and foremost of crus, of grapes, but also vintages always with this desire to capture the quintessence of finesse and elegance that Champagne can offer when it is served lovingly. Read more
