Description
Still red from Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 14% ABV, produced by Venica. 100% Merlot, 2020 vintage. A wine born from the passion of the Venica family, who have been producing excellent wines since 1930. The skins are macerated for 20 days. The wine is then aged in French barriques for 12 months (with a modest percentage of new wood). Spontaneous fermentation allows for longer and more delicate macerations, and the wine is not filtered during bottling. A beautiful, deep ruby red color with garnet highlights, which tend to fade with age.
