Description
Still red Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, produced by San Felice in Tuscany, 14% ABV. A wine that best expresses the excellence of Sangiovese, with a winemaking process that enhances its complexity and elegance. San Felice extends across 150 hectares of vineyards, at an altitude of approximately 400 meters above sea level, in a perfect combination of soil and microclimate. In these ideal conditions, we produce excellent wines and oils. Our winemaker, Leonardo Bellaccini, is a pioneer in many unique practices. Above all, he recognizes the characteristics that distinguish each of San Felice's rolling slopes. With his technical team, he cares for each vine individually. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel, with 22 days of maceration at 28–30°C. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in wood for 24 months. Broad and persistent aromas. Hints of sweet violets and blackcurrants blend with sweet spices of tobacco and licorice. A deep ruby red color. A full-bodied, smooth, well-structured wine, defined by ripe, juicy tannins that balance well with the acidity.
