Great elegance on the nose: violet and thea rose begin to lead the dance, then pressed by ripe cherry, clear chinotto, Szechuan pepper, earth notes, camphor, sandalwood, in a mobile framework, almost elusive in its mutability.

Back in 1835, the Marengo family arrived in Castagnole Monferrato, farmers from way back.

In the 1960s, Aldo specialised the company in viticulture by purchasing new vineyards and improving the cellar equipment.

In 1986 his son Massimo joined him, continuing the company's improvement work. The company has always believed in the potential of Ruchè, an autochthonous vine cultivated since ancient times in Castagnole.

Today, the company cultivates 5 hectares of vineyards in the best hillside positions of Castagnole, where the wine is aged and bottled.
