Description
What kind of wine it is
Pinot Nero Rosé Franz Haas is a still rosé wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, belonging to the Vigneti delle Dolomiti denomination. Made from carefully vinified Pinot Nero grapes, it appears in the glass with a light cherry red colour. The aromatic profile reveals notes of red berries, cherry and raspberry, enhanced by delicate aromatic herbs and a subtle hint of cocoa. On the palate, it stands out for its fresh acidity, balanced by a persistent savouriness that accompanies a dynamic and vibrant finish.
Where it comes from
The grapes grow in Trentino-Alto Adige in a mountainous environment, trained using the Guyot system at altitudes between 700 and 750 metres. The vineyards rest on soils of dolomitic origin subject to erosion. Franz Haas's agronomic management focuses on high planting density and meticulous clonal selection, essential factors for grape quality. The low yields ensure a limited production, capable of offering a clear territorial expression focused on fruit purity.
How it is produced
The process begins with destemming and a gentle pressing, carried out with the same care usually reserved for white wines. The must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature, subsequently undergoing malolactic fermentation. Finally, the wine matures in steel tanks for several months. This production process preserves the integrity of the aromatic profile and the gustatory tension, delivering a clean, linear sip with great definition.
