Paolo Manzone Barbera d'Alba Ruja 2022
This Barbera d'Alba is a wine of great depth that comes from 25/30 year old vineyards in the commune of Roddino at about 550 metres above sea level. Until a few years ago, the ripening of the grapes at these altitudes was difficult, but now, with the change in climate, we obtain great grapes with perfect ripeness and alcohol contents of up to 13.50% 14.00%. In this wine we have a perfect balance between body, fruit, acidity and alcohol with wines that are ready to drink but at the same time long-lived.
To increase the balance and smoothness, 10% of the wine is aged in 350lt Burgundy tonneaux.
