Balance is guaranteed by soft tannins, which accompany the palate towards a clean finish enriched by nuances of graphite.
Where it comes from
This interpretation originates in Roncofreddo, where the vineyards are cultivated using the albarello (bush-vines) system. The roots sink into loam soils composed of Messinian sands and evolved red clays, a geological combination that gives the wine a distinct saline vein and a well-proportioned tannic texture. The name pays homage to local history, celebrating the vine as one of the first signs left by the Romans on the hills of Romagna.
How it is produced
Production begins with a manual harvest to select the healthiest bunches. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, a choice aimed at preserving the aromatic integrity and taste precision of the fruit. This approach ensures a smooth and very pleasant wine, capable of enhancing a lively natural freshness. To capture every nuance of the terroir, decanting for one hour before serving is suggested.
