Description
What kind of wine it is
Vezzoli Franciacorta Saten Brut is a Traditional Method sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes, renowned for its enveloping creaminess. In the glass, it appears golden and bright, a prelude to an intense bouquet of white flowers, linden, acacia and ripe pear, enhanced by notes of orange blossom honey and a pronounced chalky minerality. On the palate, it is lively and harmonious, characterised by a soft sip and an elegant oaked finish. Thanks to its structure, it is a perfect wine for the entire meal, able to enhance creamy risottos, shellfish and dishes based on delicate fish.
Where it comes from
This sparkling wine originates in Lombardy, in the municipality of Erbusco, an area historically dedicated to excellent viticulture. The Vezzoli winery cultivates its vineyards in full harmony with the Franciacorta region. The specific local soil and climate conditions allow Chardonnay to develop great aromatic complexity and the freshness needed for sparkling wine bases. The rigorous agronomic and oenological work aims for the highest expression of the territorial profile, offering a glass that faithfully tells the story of its place of origin.
How it is produced
Vinification begins in steel tanks, followed by ageing of the base wine in small oak barrels for about six or seven months. This period in wood imparts elegant and deep aromatic nuances to the wine. The process continues with refermentation in the bottle according to the Traditional Method, an essential step to achieve a fine and silky perlage. At the end of the ageing on the lees, disgorgement completes the production cycle, resulting in a sparkling wine of great finesse and character.
