Description
What kind of wine it is
Ritterhof Goldmuskateller Moscato Giallo is an aromatic white from the Vineyards of the Dolomites. Made exclusively from Yellow Muscat grapes, it offers intense notes of ripe fruit and pronounced varietal aromas. On the palate, the sip balances between dry and off-dry, standing out for its clarity and a lively freshness. The crisp acidity and subtle minerality lead to a long and persistent finish. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs harmoniously with Asian cuisine, fish dishes and spicy cheeses.
Where it comes from
The grapes are grown in highly suitable areas of South Tyrol, including the Lower Adige, Oltradige, Isarco Valley, Caldaro and Bolzano. The vineyards, located between three hundred and four hundred and fifty metres above sea level, benefit from an ideal climate for the development of aromatic complexity. The moraine-origin soils, characterised by a rich presence of gravel and clay, ensure an extraordinary mineral richness of the soil. This feature is reflected in a linear and harmonious flavour profile, an authentic expression of the hilly terroir.
How it is produced
Vinification begins with a careful manual harvest, carried out between mid and late October. The bunches undergo gentle pressing and a brief cold maceration, essential for extracting the primary aromas of the grape variety. The temperature-controlled fermentation at nineteen degrees Celsius preserves the clarity and fragrance of the taste. To maintain the integrity of the aromas and the liveliness over time, the process concludes with delicate bottling in a protective atmosphere.
