Still organic white wine from Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 13.5% ABV, produced by Renato Keber. A wine born from the passion of a family that has cultivated vines in Zegla, near the Slovenian border, for four generations. A blend of Friulano/Sauvignon Vert, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla, and Sauvignon Blanc. 0.75L bottle, 2019 vintage. Elegant with sweet spices and small white flowers, with a mineral finish that enhances its persistence. Dry and austere with hints of dried fruit, a long mineral aftertaste.

The gently curving hillside called Zegla, close by the border with Slovenia, has long been home to Renato Keber and his family. Renato’s great grandfather, Franc, came from nearby Vipulzano to settle here in 1900, when this was still under Austrian rule.

Since then and for four generations, the Keber family has lived and produced its wine in Zegla, and even today, the older generations join the new ones in working in the vineyards. Read more
