Classy nose, ringing out sensations of morello cherry and black cherry, potpourri, touches of ginger and cardamom, citrus and tobacco traits.

Bright mouthfeel, fresh acidity, micron-responsive, with well-combed tannins and hints of blood orange and cocoa that are insistent to say the least.

Poggio di Sotto was founded after years of research to find the best soil conditions in Montalcino, exposition on the South and micro-climate most suitable to reach an ideal and balanced maturation of the Sangiovese grape variety.
