Description
What kind of wine it is
Pedrotti Trento Brut is a refined sparkling wine produced using the Traditional Method, created from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In the glass, it displays a bright golden yellow colour, enhanced by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it is fragrant, with notes of dried fruit and yellow apple. On the palate, it offers lively acidity and excellent structure, making it perfect to accompany an entire meal.
Where it comes from
This sparkling wine is produced in Nomi, in the heart of Trentino Alto Adige, a prime area for the Trento designation. It is crafted by Pedrotti, a historic family-run winery active since the early twentieth century. The mountainous climate of this region gives the grapes the freshness needed to create sparkling wines of great elegance. The pronounced minerality and precise flavour profile faithfully reflect the identity of its place of origin.
How it is produced
Production follows the strict steps of the Traditional Method, with a slow refermentation in the bottle. The wine matures through a long ageing on the lees for at least forty-five months. This extended rest enriches the aromatic bouquet and harmonises the freshness with the structure of the wine. The Brut dosage enhances the characteristics of the blend, delivering a clean, crisp and dry finish.
History and Curiosities
Founded in Nomi in 1901, the Pedrotti family winery continues a precious sparkling wine tradition. The Trento DOC Brut Millesimato celebrates this heritage with its elegant black label, a tribute to the winery's historic first vintage in 1979. Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, this wine is matured using the traditional method for at least 45 months on the lees, developing a fine and persistent perlage. Overseen by oenologist Paolo Pedrotti, the sparkling wine offers an elegant lively acidity and distinct mineral notes, representing the true excellence of the Trentino region.

The same quest for quality and improvement is handed down to the third generation with his son Paolo, who, after completing his studies in oenology, devotes himself completely to wine production first and then to sparkling wine production.
Today it is two sisters, Donatella and Chiara, who follow with passion and determination the evolution of the family business focused on the production of Classic Method Trentodoc sparkling wines as the best expression of the terroir highly suited to sparkling wine production. Read more
