Description
What kind of wine it is
Masi's Modello Trevenezie Rosso is a still red wine with the Typical Geographical Indication of the Tre Venezie, produced from a blend of Merlot, Raboso Veronese and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. In the glass, it displays a bright red colour with violet highlights, introducing a complex aromatic profile of blackberry, raspberry and blackcurrant, enriched by notes of sweet spices and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, it is pleasantly fresh and smooth, with marked liveliness and soft tannins that lead the tasting towards a persistent finish, dominated by elegant hints of wild berries.
Where it comes from
The expression of the Trevenezie denomination encapsulates the authenticity of the winegrowing region of North-Eastern Italy, situated between Veneto and Friuli. Masi selects the grapes from particularly suitable vineyards, partly cultivated in the historic Stra’ del Milione estate, whose name pays homage to the route taken by Marco Polo in the 13th century. The influence of these lands gives the wine a strong identity and a balanced structure that enhances the liveliness typical of the reds from this region.
