Description

What kind of wine it is

Man Trento Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature by Man Spumanti is a refined Classic Method pas dosé from Trentino Alto Adige, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. Produced within the prestigious Trento area, it stands out for its rigorous profile and extremely fine perlage. The aromatic bouquet blends a pronounced mineral character with delicate notes of undergrowth, wild strawberry, fern and citrus peel. On the palate, it offers a creamy and vibrant sip, characterised by a clear freshness that evolves into balanced savouriness and a pleasant almond-like persistence.

Where it comes from

This wine originates in the heart of Trento, among the glacial cirques and morainic hills of Trentino Alto Adige. The landscape is defined by valleys shaped by glaciers and deep incisions carved by the Avisio stream, where the vines grow on steep slopes with gradients reaching 40%, protected by historic dry-stone walls. This complex geological matrix gives the grapes a pronounced mineral component, essential for ensuring a profile with a crisp and dry style. In this mountainous setting, Pinot Noir expresses a straightforward drinkability and an elegant saline trail.

How it is produced

Production follows the strict principles of the Classic Method, aiming to combine aromatic precision and depth. Fermentation of the base wines takes place between steel and barrels, promoting excellent structural balance. The subsequent prise de mousse is followed by a slow maturation of 36 months on the lees, essential for imparting gustatory tension and a seductive tactile creaminess. Disgorgement is carried out without any sugar dosage: a stylistic choice that respects the pas dosé identity and ensures a dry, linear and persistent flavour progression.

History and Curiosities

Born from the steep Trentino slopes shaped by glaciers, this classic method pas dosé sparkling wine expresses all the elegance of pure Pinot Noir. The meticulous vinification, carried out between steel and tonneau, is followed by 36 months of ageing on the lees, which gives the wine a bright golden hue and an extremely fine perlage. Awarded 4 Grappoli Bibenda, it captivates the palate with a creamy and vibrant sip, ending with a pleasantly almondy finish. An authentic excellence signed by Man Spumanti, capable of evolving magnificently in the cellar for up to ten years.

A valley with a sectional conformation divided into a ``U`` shaped valley caressed by glaciers, and a ``V`` shaped part excavated and eroded by the Avisio torrent. Slopes with gradients of sometimes 40%, 700 km and more of dry stone walls respectfully following the natural conformation of the land.

Moraine hills and glacial cirques are a unique geological and architectural spectacle of the territory.
