Description
What type of spirit it is
Malfy Gin Rosa by Torino Distillati is an Italian spirit characterised by a lively pale pink colour and a bright aromatic profile. On the nose, it reveals intense notes of Sicilian pink grapefruit, rhubarb, anise and citrus fruits. On the palate, it is fresh and fruity, with a pronounced citrus imprint balanced by hand-picked juniper. This sensory harmony delivers a structured sip at 41 degrees, finishing with a persistent finish dominated by classic balsamic notes.
Where it comes from
Production takes place in Piedmont by Malfy, but its sensory profile evokes the coastal landscapes of the south. The identity of the spirit is based on the rigorous selection of raw materials, among which Italian citrus fruits stand out. Grapefruits ripened in Sicily provide the distinctive citrus note and delicate pink hue. The integration with selected botanicals creates an aromatic profile that reflects the Mediterranean character, offering a pure and bold expression of the ingredients.

Italians Invented Gin in the 11th Century - monks living on the Salerno Coast gathered Juniper Berries and mixed them with alcohol - and gin was born. Today our family makes Malfy GQDI (Gin de Qualita Distillato in Italia) at our distillery in Moncalieri using Italian Juniper and 6 other botanicals. We use Coastal grown Italian lemons which gives Malfy the aroma like the zest from a lemon just picked from the tree.
Enjoy Malfy Gin on the rocks, in a Negroni, a Martini or in a Malfy & Tonic - lots of ice and of course garnished with an Italian Lemon. Read more
