Description
What kind of wine it is
Letrari Trento Brut Rosé is born from the harmonious blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Produced according to the Traditional Method, it matures on the lees, revealing a bright amber-pink colour and a fine perlage. On the nose, fragrances of currant, strawberry, rhubarb and raspberry stand out. The palate is juicy and satisfying, distinguished by a vinous and velvety structure. Notes of morello cherry, tea infusions and hints of lemon balm close in a persistent finish.
Where it comes from
The Letrari winery operates in Trentino-Alto Adige, in Vallagarina, at the heart of the Trento production area. The vineyards are located in a sunny valley, characterised by significant temperature variations. The influence of Lake Garda encourages a special Mediterranean microclimate. This pedoclimatic balance is ideal for enhancing the aromas and preserving the natural acidity of the grapes, giving the sparkling wine a pronounced freshness and rigorous stylistic precision.
How it is produced
The grapes are selected through careful manual harvesting. This is followed by gentle pressing and the first fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the prise de mousse takes place in the bottle, strictly following the principles of the Traditional Method. The prolonged ageing on the lees enriches the wine with a subtle creaminess, offering an elegant, dry and lively glass, characterised by impeccable palate cleanliness.
