Description
What kind of wine it is
Letrari Trento Brut Rosé +4 Riserva is a sparkling wine with a bold personality, created from a refined blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Produced according to the strict principles of the Traditional Method, this wine from the Trento denomination stands out for its fine and elegant sensory profile. In the glass, it displays a delicate antique pink hue, a prelude to a clear bouquet in which distinct notes of small red fruits emerge. On the palate, it is seductive and velvety, supported by a pleasant freshness and enriched with nuances of spices, strawberry and cherry jam.
Where it comes from
This wine expression originates in the vineyards of Vallagarina, in the enchanting area of Rovereto, in Trentino-Alto Adige. The entire area benefits from a unique Mediterranean microclimate, tempered by breezes from nearby Lake Garda and the constant influence of the River Adige. These particular environmental conditions ensure a balanced ripening of the grapes, giving the fruit remarkable expressive vibrancy. The Trento denomination thus enhances a pure territorial character, where aromatic finesse harmoniously blends with the region's pronounced sparkling wine vocation.
How it is produced
The creation of this sparkling wine follows meticulous production steps, starting with the manual harvesting of the grapes. The Pinot Noir undergoes a brief maceration in contact with the skins to extract its typical colour, before being combined with the Chardonnay. The prise de mousse takes place through a slow second fermentation in the bottle, as required by the Traditional Method. Its distinctive feature lies in the prolonged ageing on the lees for ninety-six months: a long resting period that exceeds the standard timing by four months, giving rise to the Riserva +4 designation and bestowing a taste structure of rare harmony.
