Description

What kind of wine it is

Opera Rosé Metodo Classico Brut is a refined Lombard rosé by Le Marchesine, an authentic expression of the Franciacorta region. This Metodo Classico is created from a harmonious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero. The glass, with its pale pink colour and fine, continuous perlage, reveals clear notes of acacia flowers, raspberry and pomegranate. On the palate, it is enveloping and lively, with a pleasant citrus note and a creamy finish, ideal for pairing with tempting fried fish dishes.

Where it comes from

This wine is produced in Passirano, in the heart of Franciacorta in Brescia. Le Marchesine oversees production thanks to the experience of five generations dedicated to viticulture. The character of this Lombard region emerges in a clean sensory profile, capable of delivering a lively freshness from the very first sip. The area's soil and climate conditions allow for the production of high-quality grapes, which give the glass an elegant structure and a balanced taste texture.

How it is produced

The grapes, harvested by hand, undergo a quick vinification to preserve the integrity of the primary aromas. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Afterwards, the prise de mousse takes place according to the principles of the Metodo Classico, with a period of rest in temperature-controlled environments. This slow refermentation is essential for creating extremely fine bubbles, which give the sip a refined dryness and a fruity, persistent finish.

History and Curiosities

The Opera Rosé Metodo Classico Brut embodies the longstanding dedication of Le Marchesine, skilfully blending Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero grapes. The bunches, hand-picked, are vinified within a few hours to preserve the delicate fragrances of acacia flowers and raspberry. The meticulous fermentation at a controlled temperature and the slow prise de mousse ensure a lively and persistent perlage. This refined sparkling wine offers a fresh and enveloping sip, characterised by an elegant creamy finish that perfectly enhances fried fish dishes.
