Description
Single malt whisky from Taiwan, produced by the Kavalan distillery. This Concertmaster is aged in port barrels, giving the whisky a unique and enveloping character. The color is a deep brownish red. The nose reveals a tropical fruity bouquet with hints of honey, vanilla, coconut, and cotton candy. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, with a natural sweetness and complexity. A whisky that represents Taiwan's excellence in the world of spirits.

Pairings
The first production dates back to 2008 and since then Kavalan has been awarded numerous international awards and prizes. Thanks to the subtropical climate of the country, the maturing of Kavalan whiskeys is greatly accelerated: it is enough for a period of just two and a half or three years before bottling to get an evolved product ready for the market.
The distillery has 35,000 aging barrels, all oak previously used for bourbon or sherry, for an annual production of about 9 million bottles. Read more
