Description

What kind of wine is it

Les Chaillets Loupette Blanc De Noirs Brut Nature by Delouvin Nowack is a Blanc de Noirs Champagne with a straw yellow colour, dedicated to the pure expression of Pinot Meunier. This Traditional Method stands out for its aromatic profile, intertwining fruity notes with delicate hints of yeast. On the palate, it is fresh, broad and persistent, supported by a fine and elegant perlage. As a zero dosage Brut Nature, it offers a very dry drink, capable of evolving in the cellar for several years. Its structure makes it ideal for pairing with fish and shellfish starters, as well as fine cheeses and white meats.

Where does it come from

This wine is produced in France, within the Champagne region, specifically in Vandières, at the heart of the Vallée de la Marne. The winery is led by independent winemaker Bertrand Delouvin, who manages the vineyards following strict organic and sustainable practices. The agricultural focus is on Pinot Meunier, cultivated in a context that enhances its freshness and clear aromatic definition. The production reflects a craft approach closely linked to the land, capable of delivering a genuine interpretation of the local winemaking vocation.

How is it produced

The production of Les Chaillets Loupette Blanc De Noirs Brut Nature is designed to accentuate the authentic character of Pinot Meunier. The process strictly follows the Traditional Method, with a slow secondary fermentation in the bottle and targeted ageing on the lees. This interaction gives the wine its typical aroma and unmistakable finesse of bubbles. The decision to offer it as a zero dosage defines its profoundly dry and linear nature. The result is a Champagne with a technical and clean profile, ensuring great liveliness and a consistently taut and satisfying sip.

History and Curiosities

Signed by the independent winemaker Bertrand Delouvin, this Blanc de Noirs originates in Vandières, in the renowned Vallée de la Marne. The winery cultivates its six hectares following strict organic and sustainable practices, focusing on enhancing the value of pure Pinot Meunier. The cuvée is vinified in a minimalist way and matured as a zero dosage, highlighting the most authentic identity of the grape variety. With disgorgement carried out in August 2023, this artisanal Brut Nature encapsulates the soul of its dedicated land in 50,000 bottles.
