Description
What kind of wine it is
Cesarini Sforza Brut Rosé is a refined sparkling rosé Trento wine by Cesarini Sforza. This captivating blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay is crafted using the Traditional Method. In the glass, it shines with a cherry-pink hue, enhanced by a fine and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile reveals notes of currant, plum, grapefruit and wholemeal bread. On the palate, it stands out for its lively fresh and savoury character and a fruity, silky texture.
Where it comes from
The grapes are sourced from vineyards located between the Avisiane Hills and the Cembra Valley, in the heart of the Trento region. The rows benefit from optimal exposure at altitudes between 350 and 700 metres. The diversity of the soils plays a fundamental role: deep clay-silt soils rich in dolomitic rocks alternate with sandy matrices of fluvio-glacial origin containing porphyritic debris. This geological richness gives the wine a pronounced identity. The harvest, carried out between the end of August and the beginning of September, helps to preserve the intense mountain freshness.
How it is produced
The production process strictly follows the principles of the Traditional Method. After pressing, the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay ferment in stainless steel tanks to preserve maximum aromatic purity. The prise de mousse is followed by a slow maturation of 24 months on the lees. This meticulous ageing defines a Brut dosage of great precision, able to harmonise the varietal savouriness with clear fruit, ensuring a silky and elegantly styled drink.
