Description
What kind of wine is it
Champagne Brut Nature Les Leriens appears in the glass with a straw yellow hue, crossed by a fine and persistent perlage. This captivating blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir offers clear fruity aromas on the nose, enriched by typical yeast notes. On the palate, it displays a bold character, revealing itself as a fresh, savoury and mineral wine, ideal for accompanying starters, shellfish, sushi, fried fish and soft cheeses at a serving temperature between 6 and 8°C.
Where does it come from
This Champagne is produced in Châtillon-sur-Marne, in the renowned Champagne wine region, and is crafted by Cazé-Thibaut. This family-run estate, founded in 1953, operates as an independent winegrower, driven by a deep passion for its terroir. The winery adopts a strict organic and sustainable approach in the vineyard, working with dedication to enhance the soil and to express the complex mineral identity of the grapes with great precision.
How is it produced
The production process follows the principles of the Traditional Method, with great care taken over the musts. The base wine ferments in oak barrels, followed by natural cold stabilisation to preserve the aromatic integrity. In the cellar, no fining or filtration is carried out, keeping the wine's characteristics intact. The absence of dosage, typical of the pas dosé style, highlights its vibrant and profound dryness.
