Description
What type of wine it is
Bellavista’s Franciacorta Alma Non Dosato Assemblage 3 Magnum is a wine from Lombardy with a Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita status, representing the winery’s purest essence. Born from a harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this wine takes shape following the rigorous principles of the Traditional Method. Its flavour profile is dry, taut, and free of added sugars, enhanced by an extremely fine and persistent perlage. On the palate, an elegant texture emerges, capable of blending vibrant energy with a distinct saline character, offering a dynamic and profound sip.
Where it comes from
This Franciacorta originates in the heart of Lombardy, within the prestigious territories of Erbusco. The grapes come from a careful selection from historic parcels, cultivated using Guyot and spurred cordon systems. The vines, having reached full maturity, take root in mineral-rich morainic soils. This specific geological composition gives the wine its unmistakable savoury character, defining a sip of extreme purity that leads into a long mineral finish.
How it is produced
Production begins with a manual harvest dedicated to selecting the finest bunches. After the soft pressing of the free-run must, fermentation of the base wines takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in small oak barrels, adding structure and complexity. Subsequently, an extensive blend, enriched with reserve wines, undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle. Ageing on the lees continues for a long time, according to the rhythms of the Traditional Method, until remuage. The absence of dosage at the time of disgorgement preserves its vibrant and authentic identity.
