Description
What kind of wine is it
Altemasi Trento Rosé Brut is a rosé sparkling wine from Trento by Altemasi. Produced using the Traditional Method, it is created from a harmonious blend of the elegance of Chardonnay and the structure of Pinot Noir. Visually, it displays a delicate pale pink colour with copper highlights, enhanced by a creamy mousse and fine perlage. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and red apple, while on the palate it offers a full and enveloping flavour, with remarkable balance and persistence. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with starters, shellfish, lean fish and lamb-based dishes.
Where does it come from
The grapes come from Trentino Alto Adige, from the prized areas of the Brentonico Plateau and the Cembra Valley. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 450 and 600 metres, in optimal conditions for the perfect ripening of the grapes. The roots sink into fluvioglacial soils which give the wine a distinct mineral character and a pleasant freshness. These specific soil and climate conditions ensure high-quality fruit, giving the wine a clear aromatic definition and a flavour profile that faithfully reflects the identity of the region.
How is it produced
Production strictly follows the Traditional Method, with a meticulous secondary fermentation. The prolonged ageing on the lees for over 36 months allows the development of a deep sensory profile and notable creaminess. This sparkling wine displays a balanced character, supported by fresh acidity. To best appreciate its aromatic complexity and harmony, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 6-8 °C.
