History |
The Nascetta vine is a native of the Albese area, cultivated on the hills between Barolo and Novello. The Rovasenda, cites it with the name of "Anascetta" in his "Essay of a universal ampelography" of 1877 and describes it as "very delicate grape and exquisite wine". At the time, in addition to blending with grapes, this grape was certainly used for table consumption.

Notes |
Resistance to pests and other adversities: in vintages with less favorable climatic conditions, the compactness of the cluster can favor the onset of gray mold. |
