The Vineyard 'Cicala' has an average age of 40-45 years and the plants are replanted from time to time. The main variety of Nebbiolo is Lampia and the rootstock is Rupestris du Lot.

Red with transparent hues.

Bouquet

Aromas of leather, vanilla bean, sweet scent of rose petals, plum and citrus peel.

Flavour

The taste is defined, fresh, and acidic with well delineated aromas of leather, cherry peel, aniseed and hints of oregano.

Soil composition	Calcareous marl alternating with layers of sand.
Harvest	By hand, in mid-October, with grapes selection.
Fermentation temperature	Variables with peaks of 32 °C.
Vinification	In red with maceration of the skins in stainless steel tanks. The must remains in contact with the skins for 25-30 days.
Ageing	The wine, after remaining in steel tanks for 4-5 months and racked several times, is put into large Slavonian oak barrels and aged here for about 26-28 months. After that, it is bottled.
Allergens	Contains sulphites
Pairing	It pairs well with game meat and aged cheeses.
