Areas of cultivation White-grape vine originally in the Loire valley and also called Pineau or Pineau de la Loire, chenin blanc has been successfully transplanted to the Americas, South Africa, Israel and Oceania.
Ampelographic features Leaf: medium size; Both the flap and the lobes are contorted; Lower brutal and arachnid side on the ribs, brutal and tomentosa on the flap; Surface with fine bollosity, dark green; Red petiole point; Partially red ribs on the top, green or partially red on the bottom. Bunch: medium, compact; Visible peduncle, herbaceous; Axis of the non-colored spine.
