Delicate bouquet with recognition of white flowers and white fruit pulp, soft and pleasantly fruity in the mouth. Ideal as an aperitif or with light appetizers.
Bright yellow supported by a fine perlage.
On the nose there are hints of white peach and flowers.
In the mouth it is fresh with a long finish.
Seafood hors d'oeuvres, fried fish, pasta with white shellfish sauces, fish in general, fried chicken and caprese.
Maison Vergnes produces a French method classic sparkling wine started way back in 1531 by the monks of the abbey of St. Hilaire. It is produced with Mauzac grapes, also called Blanquette, from the white color of the vine leaves.
