Vincent Girardin, geboren mit einer Leidenschaft für Wein Die Geschichte des Maison Vincent Girardin ist relativ jung. Vincent Girardin, Sohn einer seit dem 17. Jahrhundert in Santenay ansässigen Winzerfamilie, beschloss 1980 im Alter von 19 Jahren, sich selbständig zu machen und begann mit der Produktion von Wein auf den zwei Hektar Weinbergen, die er von seinen Eltern geerbt hatte. Von frühester Jugend an hatte Vincent Girardin eine Leidenschaft für die Arbeit mit Reben und einen großen Respekt vor dem Potenzial, das sie darstellen; sein Ziel war es, seinen eigenen Wein zu produzieren.
Die Qualität seiner Weine wurde bald von Kennern in der ganzen Welt anerkannt, was es ihm ermöglichte, sein Geschäft zu erweitern und sich vor allem auf die großen Weiß- und Rotweine der Côte de Beaune zu konzentrieren.
