Beschreibung

Monopoly of this geographic mention Vigna, "Preve" is the name of a small vineyard in the MGA in the Lazzarito sub-zone of Serralunga d'Alba. The particular combination of soil and exposure to the sun generates a wine of great volume and energy. Its complexity and its ability to evolve and improve for a long time does not preclude elegance and pleasure in youth.

Austere tart, grafite and struck match nose explode on the first nose of this renomated South-Ovest exposition vineyard, rounded by a bouquet of poppy seeds and carnation flowers. Figs, cherries and persimmon jam in an infusion of lavender, black musk and bergamot dive you in the sinuous and deep layered expression of Barolo.

The Poderi Gianni Gagliardo winery was born from a tradition of winemakers present in Piedmont since 1847. Generation after generation, the Colla family moved from the Santo Stefano Belbo area, home of Moscato, to the area of great red wines.

In 1961, Paolo Colla moved to La Morra, realising his lifelong dream of producing Barolo. In 1972, Gianni Gagliardo married Paolo's only daughter and soon began working with him.

The bottling of the estate's wines went from amateur to professional in 1974, and since then it has been a continuous evolution. In the 2000s, the new generation gradually came into play. Today, Stefano, Alberto and Paolo work alongside their father in the management and development of the company's projects.
