This wine is produced with a 'Bordeaux blend'. The term 'blending' refers to the mixing of different wines by grape variety, while the second term indicates those grape varieties originating in the region of Bordeaux, namely: cabernet, merlot (as well as, in some vintages, petit verdot), vines now cultivated throughout Italy that in Sicily have shown splendid adaptation.

Intense spicy scents on the nose.

Flavour

Deep, very well-balanced, with tannins of exemplary elegance and a savoury finish that prepares for favourable evolution over time. A wine of great substance and depth, elegant. A rich but not excessive Bordeaux; powerful but never heavy, on the contrary, flowing and juicy.

Pairing

The Caro Maestro goes well with lamb dishes, boiled meat, veal kidney, duck in orange sauce, roast game and generally with meat dishes with an intense flavour.
