Description
What kind of wine is it
Emiliana Natura Gewürztraminer is a still organic white wine with a distinctly aromatic character, made from Gewürztraminer grapes. Its sensory profile opens with an intense bouquet featuring notes of jasmine and rose, interwoven with hints of lychee, citrus, and touches of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, supported by vibrant freshness and balanced acidity. Its smoothness accompanies the fruity notes towards a long, spicy finish, making it ideal for enhancing Asian cuisine, sushi, and shellfish.
Where does it come from
This white wine originates from the picturesque Rapel Valley in Chile. Emiliana cultivates its vineyards according to the principles of organic and biodynamic viticulture, working the land with full respect for the ecosystem. This sustainable approach is reflected in the care given to the raw material, with grapes hand-picked to ensure perfect ripeness. The result is an authentic expression of the region, capable of delivering a natural and profound balance in the glass.
How is it produced
The production process begins with a very gentle pressing of the bunches. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature, preserving the aromatic integrity of the Gewürztraminer. Afterwards, the wine rests on fine lees for a month, gaining greater roundness and volume. Maturation continues in steel for four months, maintaining a clear, clean taste with hints of exotic fruit and nuances of almond. This wine is also suitable for vegan consumers.
History and Curiosities
Since 1998, Emiliana has been a pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture in the Rapel Valley, Chile, combining production excellence with the utmost respect for the environment. This ethical philosophy is fully expressed in Natura Gewürztraminer 2024, made from grapes hand-picked at the beginning of March and gently pressed. To enhance the character of the Aromatic Traminer, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature and rests on fine lees, then completes a four-month maturation in steel which preserves its elegance and vibrant freshness intact.
