Tenuta delle Macchie Etna Rosso Ciauria 2018
In the 2009 harvest I started to produce a simpler Etna Rosso, which wants to be the daily wine, to be tasted every day, and that every day brings us back to the aromas and flavors of Nerello Mascalese that grows on the slopes of Etna. A wine that, as they say in Sicily, "Ciaurìa" of Etna. A wine that impresses with its disarming simplicity, but not trivial. A magic that is consumed only when you meet an extraordinary vine with a unique territory.

Colour

Ruby red with good texture and density.

Bouquet

The aromas are delicate and elegant, characterized by fruity and mineral notes, characteristics of the Etna terroir.

Flavour

On the palate, ripe fruit aromas are supported by delicate tannins and a good acidity that allows a dry, clean and fresh finish.

Pairing

Ciaurìa is accompanied by earthen dishes, of all seasons, typical of Etna, and with a careful serving temperature, even to some fish dishes.
