Feudo Principi di Butera Terre Siciliane Symposio 2016
A Sicilian-style Bordeaux, an authentic expression of Butera's terroir and an imma-gine of the European character of ancient Sicilian nobility. As its name of Greek origin suggests, it is the wine of 'conviviality' and shared emotions. And it is a red that combines the freshness of Cabernet Sauvignon, the fruitiness of Merlot and the savouriness of Petit Verdot in an authentic symphony of Mediterranean flavours.

Colour

Impenetrable ruby red.

Bouquet

The nose opens on hints of small berries, such as blueberry, and chocolate, followed by spices and a fresh balsamic note.

Flavour

The palate reveals a bursting structure, followed by good acidity and smooth tannins.

Pairing

It is a classy wine, capable of accompanying refined meat dishes and absolute Sicilian dishes, such as a pasta alla Norma or a Farsumagru.
