Purple colour with mauve purple hue.

Bouquet

Vibrant, perfumed nose of blackberry and raspberry over a layer of fresh liquorice.

Flavour

The tannin structure is very fine, very dry with notes of raspberry that remain in the background with dry tannins overwhelming the aftertaste.

Vinification After triage the grapes are de-stemmed and then transferred by hand into tank. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, with only gentle foot-treading of grapes. Malolactic fermentation completed in French oak, 228 and 500 litre vessels.
Ageing 14 months aging in barrel with light filtration and no fining.
