Created to promote the famous Vernaccia variety, over the years it has become one of the company’s iconic wines.

Colour

Straw yellow, at times even deep, bright yellow.

Bouquet

Delicate but continuous, with pleasant aromas of fruit. Intense and lingering, fruity and flowery.

Flavour

The smooth full-bodied flavour reflects the bouquet.

Pairing

Preference for fish and seafood but is a worthy accompaniment to white meat with light sauces and vegetable stews. Also excellent as an aperitif.

Climate Typically Mediterranean with mild Winters, limited rainfall and very hot and windy Summers. Altitude: Up to 200 m. a.s.l.
Soil composition Partly alluvial, sandy, slightly clayey and partly of volcanic origin.
Cultivation system Espalier and bush-trained.
Yield per hectare 7,000 - 8,000 kg.
Harvest The first half of September.
Vinification Soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperature in steel.
Ageing The wine is aged in steel or glass-lined concrete vats with its yeasts and undergoes regular bâtonage. Several months in the bottle. When stored in a suitable environment, it ages well in the bottle for several years.
Allergens Contains sulphites
Pairing Preference for fish and seafood but is a worthy accompaniment to white meat with light sauces and vegetable stews. Also excellent as an aperitif.
