Chateau Siran Margaux Rouge 2019
Château Siran is an important estate in the Margaux appellation, which was once owned by the grandparents of the famous painter Toulouse Lautrec. Since 1848 Château Siran is owned by the family Miailhe; currently the leadership in the hands of William-Alain B. Miailhe. Château Siran is classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur is located in the village in the far south of Labarde Margaux appellation. Siran has 25 hectares of vineyard on a large clay pot. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (30%), Petit Verdot (12%) and Cabernet Franc (8%). The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and then for 15-18 months in oak barrels (60% new). Siran produces classic wines with great elegance, ripe and soft fruit.
