Château Siran is located in the town of Labarde, south of Margaux, on a siliceous gravel plateau. The vineyard and the quality of the soil can produce a very elegant wine, typical of the designation. During the summer before the harvest is carried out thinning and defoliation manuals for optimal maturity and better concentration. The grapes are harvested by hand in small boxes. The grapes are sorted first in the vineyard and again on arrival in the cellar. temperature-controlled fermentation, malolactic fermentation in barrels, aging in French oak barrels renewed between 40% and 50% each year and a careful selection of blends, are the conditions used in Siran to produce the best quality. Since 2003, the conduct of the area and the wine making takes place on the advice of the oenologist Denis Dubourdieu. Every year, the label is decorated by an artist celebrating a happy event of the harvest. Château Siran belongs to the family of William Alain Miailhe since 1859, when it was bought at Toulouse-Lautrec accounts.
