Castello di Buttrio Chardonnay 2020
The origins of Chardonnay are shrouded in mystery. Almost certainly, the variety comes from a spontaneous hybridisation. Chardonnay is versatile and in the hills of Friuli it can acquire remarkable character from the minerals in the soil. Substantial day-night temperature fluctuations ensure concentrated, elegant aromas and plentiful finesse. Castello di Buttrio Chardonnay can be uncorked straight away but will reveal its most thrilling characteristics with cellar time. A sensual, charismatic wine of timeless elegance, Castello di Buttrio Chardonnay seduces with its well-defined structure and invitingly linear drinkability.
