Chateau leydet valentin france products

Born in 1862 in the Pomerol appellation, the Château Leydet Valentin estate was once part of the Château Figeac estate. Renamed Château de Valois in 1886, it has been passed down through four generations, from mother to daughter. In 1962, the property was acquired by Bernard Leydet who then bought Clos Valentin in Saint-Émilion. The name Château Leydet-Valentin did not appear until 1983 when the estate became a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. In 1996, having just graduated in oenology, Frédéric Leydet joined his father in the family business. He in turn brought his own signature, notably by developing the winemaking techniques, mixing tradition and modernity.
